Lilith Tour Searching for Local Talent

05/17/2010
.
The 2010 Lilith Tour and Ourstage.com, the music discovery destination dedicated to new artists and new music, partnered together to find the best emerging female musicians across North America.

Thousands of local artists have entered the contest by creating profiles and submitting an original song. The winner in each city is given the opportunity to open the day's festivities when Lilith visits their city with a performance on the Village Stage, the same stage that featured artists like Christina Aguilera, Nelly Furtado, and Tegan and Sara over ten years ago.

Lilith and Ourstage.com now turn to music fans across North America to help choose the artist they think deserves the chance to play in front of thousands at their local Lilith date. The first official round of public voting is in effect now and ends on May 24. At that time, entries will be narrowed down to the Top 20 artists per market, based on public votes.

Round two begins on May 25 with the Top 20 artists per market selected. From May 25 - May 28, entries will be narrowed down to the Top 10 per market, again based on public voting. Once polls are closed, officials from Ourstage.com and the Lilith Tour will select the winner in each city. Winners will be notified starting in early June. Visit http://www.ourstage.com/go/lilith to vote for your favorite local artists!
