The Who's Roger Daltrey Touring Solo and With Clapton, Opens Teenage Trust Cancer Unit Today

Who frontman Roger Daltrey has announced a string of solo dates for June and July. He'll kick off with three headlining dates and then jump on tour with Eric Clapton for four dates.

In other Daltry news, Roger will open a new teenage trust cancer unit today. Here is the announcement: A new ground-breaking teenage cancer unit has been set up on Tyneside, UK and will be officially opened [today], Wednesday. It is estimated more than 100 young people will use the centre each year.

Rock legend Roger Daltrey and X Factor winner Joe McElderry will visit the centre at Newcastle's Great North Children's Hospital, where they will be introduced to patients and staff before cutting the ribbon to mark its official opening.
