The Trashcan Sinatras Acoustic Tour

10/04/2010
.
The Trashcan Sinatras will launch an acoustic tour in the western USA on October 20th.

The trek includes an invitation to play a Seattle date with fellow Scottish indie-pop favorites, Belle & Sebastian.

"We had been talking about touring the USA this fall when this opportunity to play with Belle & Sebastian came up, so we decided to organize a little acoustic tour at the same time," says guitarist John Douglas. "We played with B&S at an festival in Glasgow a few years ago and it was a great time, so we're looking forward to it."

As a special nod to the band's fans and in appreciation for their longstanding support, fans are invited to submit song requests through the Trashcan Sinatras official website, with the most requested songs for each show included in that night's performance.

Says Livingston, "using our four-piece acoustic lineup of original band members, we have more of our back catalog available for set lists. We thought it would be fun for us and the fans to give them a chance to vote for songs. It will be interesting to see the results!"
