Laura Bell Bundy makes her second appearance this season in her recurring role on the hit CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother," which airs tonight, October 25 at 8 p.m. ET.Bundy landed the role of Becky, Robin's (Cobie Smulders) new co-anchor on the morning news show Come On, Get Up New York! Bundy is prominently featured in Monday's episode as Robin grows more frustrated with her new co-anchor.
Regarding her experience on the show, Bundy says, "I love it! These people are amazing – from the writers, producers, director to the cast and crew. They are all very easy going and they do great work. It's a harmonious environment. I have felt very welcomed. It's a lot of fun."
"My favorite moment was probably when I had to dress up in a ridiculous costume and dance around," recalls Bundy. "The best part of it was that I made the crew laugh. That's always a nice general goal to make the crew laugh."
Bundy is best known as a Tony-nominated actress who originated the role of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde: The Musical, and Amber Von Tussle in the Tony Award winning musical, Hairpray, as well as a stint as Glinda in the smash hit, Wicked. Most recently, she released a country album entitled Achin' and Shakin'.
