(Gibson) To commemorate what would have been Buddy Holly's 75th birthday this year, a new all-star tribute album, Rave On Buddy Holly, will honor the rock and roll pioneer.Some of rock's biggest names have contributed Holly songs to the collection including Kid Rock, The Black Keys, Modest Mouse, My Morning Jacket, Cee Lo Green Florence and the Machine, Paul McCartney, Lou Reed and Patti Smith. According to a press statement, the artists were encouraged to "explore radically new interpretations." Tracklisting
