(Rock News Desk) Queen have shelved plans to make a new album featuring recordings of Freddie Mercury's voice before he died.Guitarist Brian May last month said he and bandmate Roger Taylor were aiming to go through their archives in order to build a record based on tracks laid down by their iconic singer before his death in 1991.
But now Roger Taylor says it's not going to happen. "I've got to tell you: there won't be an album," The drummer tells Ultimate Classic Rock. "There's just not enough. And the last thing I want to do is have a sort of barrel-scraping exercise."
But fans may still hear new songs.
