(hennemusic) While there are certainly more well-publicized drug issues in the Rolling Stones' family, drummer Charlie Watts spoke with BBC 6 about his challenges during the making of "Some Girls.""I was lucky that I never got that hooked on it, but I went through a period of taking heroin," said Watts. "I used to get off it whenever I went home. The thing with my marriage still had to go a bit wobbly and my wife noticed I wasn't the same."
Charlie recalled one particular incident from the 1978 sessions. "I fell asleep on the floor during [the recording of] Some Girls and Keith woke me up and said, 'You should do this when you're older'. Keith telling me this! But it stuck and I just stopped...along with everything else." More including audio of the interview.
