Kylie Minogue Adds Dates

01/20/2011
.
(EMI) Kylie Minogue just announced a world tour and due to high demand for tickets she is already adding dates.

A third show has just been added in NYC and advance tickets go on sale today. Originally scheduled to play two shows at the Manhattan Center's Hammerstein Ballroom on May 2nd and 3rd, Kylie's Aphrodite Live 2011 will now play three nights at the famed venue May 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

It has been only a year and half since Kylie made her inaugural sold out visit to North America, and her return to her scene of triumph starts at Montreal's Bell Centre on April 28th and ends up at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on May 22nd.

The North American leg of the tour has been specifically designed to take maximum advantage of the venues, offering the audiences in the US, Canada and Mexico a unique experience tailored to the market. The huge production will see Kylie and her live band joined on stage by a cast of the cream of the world's professional dancers.

Word from London is rehearsals started before Christmas in locations throughout the world. Kylie is with her band in London; the dancers and aerialists are being put through their paces by not one but three top choreographers in Los Angeles; the tech crew is putting together the props and staging in Pennsylvania and Montreal whilst the video team is furiously at work back in the UK. This incredible show was created by Kylie and her long-time creative collaborator, William Baker.

Kylie said, "Rehearsals are well underway and the show is shaping up to be more than I could have wished for. All departments are doing a stellar job and the combined level of expertise is nothing short of mind blowing. My friends, Dolce and Gabbana have designed an amazing wardrobe for me. I'm overwhelmed with the love and talent that is going into this tour and I can't wait for my fans to be part of it"
