(Gibson) As previously reported, a second Lollapalooza music festival is beginning this year in Santiago, Chile. The festival recently announced the two-day event's headliners, which include The Killers, Jane's Addiction and Kanye West.Lollapalooza Chile, taking place at Santiago's Parque O'Higgins on April 2 and 3, also will feature the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Deftones, Fatboy Slim, The Flaming Lips, The National, Empire of the Sun, Cat Power, Cypress Hill, 30 Seconds to Mars, 311, Sublime with Rome, Ben Harper, Cold War Kids, CSS, Devendra Banhart, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes, Ghostland Observatory, Fischerspooner, The Drums, Datarock, Boys Noize and Bomba Estero, according to a press release. Lollapalooza began 20 years ago as a touring festival, before being resurrected as a destination event in Chicago, which will take place this year on August 5-7. more on this story
