For Foster The People have released a new music video for the second single, "Helena Beat," off their debut Torches. Mark Foster told MTV.com last month that the clip is sort of "'Lord of the Flies' meets 'Mad Max.'"
Ace Norton (She and Him, Scissor Sisters, Death Cab for Cutie,) who directed this futuristic clip, worked closely with the band to realize an over-turned, run down world where rules are long gone and kids are now rulers.
During the making of the video the director notes that, "everyone took a very hands on approach to the entire process," every person did their own stunts and no children were harmed! However, we cannot speak for the adults in this video. Watch it here
Foster The People will continue to tour the world this summer and well into the fall. With sold-out shows in nearly every market and a live set that's undeniably energetic, this is a band who you won't want to miss in 2011!
