(Gibson) Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen says that a lot of musicians who attempt to emulate the work and style of Jimi Hendrix fail to capture what was special about the rock legend. People do these Hendrix-style things and it's completely not valid, because I think what he brought, it was a complete blend."
