Kaiser Chiefs Release New Album In A New Way

06/06/2011
.
Kaiser Chiefs released their fourth studio album, The Future is Medieval, on Friday via a brand new digital platform on www.kaiserchiefs.com through Fiction / B-Unique Records.

Fans heard about the release of the new record for the first time on Friday, the same day they are given the chance to purchase the new music.

The album is the sound of a group in prolific form as evidenced by the quality of all 20 tracks released today. The band's intention is to create a music experience that can be shared and enjoyed by all and, at the same time, revitalize and subvert the industry standard.

It re-engages the excitement and spontaneity of offering new music immediately to fans, allowing them to hear the record at the same time as media and critics alike, and allows you to try your hand at being Kaiser Chiefs' A&R department.

Here's how it works:

1. Visit www.kaiserchiefs.com and listen to snippets of 20 brand new tracks
2. Select your favorite 10 songs in any order you like
3. Create your own Bespoke album artwork
4. Download your personal Kaiser Chiefs album

You are then provided with your own unique webpage and tools to promote your album with the opportunity to earn 1, converted to local currency (ie: US dollars) in your PayPal account, from every album purchased following a recommendation to a friend.

This week began with the band releasing their first single, "Little Shocks" via their website following its exclusive play on the UK's Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show on Monday.
