(Rock News Desk) Bret Michaels admits he knew he was dying when he was suddenly struck by a brain haemorrhage last year – but he says his life didn't flash before his eyes.And he admits he didn't allow himself enough time to recover from the near-fatal trauma, because he was determined to appear on the live final of TV gameshow Celebrity Apprentice.
The Poison singer was recovering at home from emergency appendix surgery when the haemorrhage hit. "My brain blew up inside my head. I told my girlfriend Kristi: 'I don't know what the f**k is going on with me right now – but I'm dying.'," Michaels tells ABC News. "People say your life flashes in front of you. It didn't. What happened to me is I got sad. It was my kids – that's what I thought about most." more on this story
