(The Metal Den) TMD has obtained extremely rare live audio of Metallica performing a cover of the Misfits song "London Dungeon." The recording took place on August 24, 1985 at Ruthie's Inn in Berkeley, California, as part of a secret gig that was essentially a warm up for their historic "Day on The Green" concert.
The Day on The Green had the young, rising band sharing the bill with the likes of Scorpions, Ratt, and Y&T on August 31, 1985 at Oakland Coliseum in Oakland, CA. more on this story
