Patti Smith, Edward Sharpe and Of Montreal Escape to New York

(Sub) The lineup for the Escape to New York festival has been announced including the newly confirmed Sunday line up with headliner of Montreal along with The Jolly Boys, Mates of State, Reptar, Tiger Love and Savoir Adore performing.

The main stage festival music line-up will be: Friday, August 5th: Patti Smith, Best Coast, Chairlift, Lissy Trullie, The Postelles, The Static Jacks

Saturday, August 6th: Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros, The Vaccines, The Psychedelic Furs, White Rabbits, Au Revoir Simone, The Submarines, Graffiti 6

Sunday, August 7th: Of Montreal, The Jolly Boys, Mates of State, Reptar, Tiger Love, Savoir Adore

The acoustic stage, DJs, speaker tent, interactive art installations and theater, culinary experiences and special guest performances will be announced shortly.

Coming to the US shores for the first time, Escape to New York is the first pop-up destination community and independent experiential music and lifestyle festival to take place on the Shinnecock Reservation adjacent to Southampton, New York, from August 5th through 7th, 2011.

The festival will start on Friday and Saturday at 11:00 AM, until 11:30 PM. Sunday will begin at 12:00 PM, until 11:00 PM.
