(Gibson) Sickness forced Paul Simon to cancel his London gig last night. According to the NME, the folk and rock legend was due to play the Hammersmith Apollo but has postponed his performance to tonight, June 29, because of a throat infection. He had told his Glastonbury audience at the weekend, "I've got a throat infection so if I'm not at the top of my game, that's the reason."
In a statement, management said: "Paul Simon wishes to apologize profusely to all his fans for any inconvenience this has caused and would like to stress that he only has their best interests at heart and wants to deliver the best show possible.
