(Gibson) "I think about Freddie all the time, really. There certainly isn't a day where I don't have some sort of thought about him."For Queen guitarist Brian May, this year is one of particular reflection on his late singer, the great Freddie Mercury. With Island re-releasing all the band's albums in deluxe formats to mark the band's 40th anniversary and a new biopic in production, featuring Borat's Sacha Baron Cohen as the legendary frontman, the 63-year-old guitarist knows that this is hardly the time to sidestep the group's musical legacy. "When Freddie died, it was like losing a family member, and we all handled it in different ways," May told the Telegraph. "For a time, I really wanted to escape from Queen; I didn't want to know about it. I think that was my grieving process. But I'm very proud of what we did together. My God, we really did go on some interesting excursions! Mostly, it makes me feel good." more on this story
