(Stache) Duncan Sheik's Covers 80s will be released on June 7th and includes his renditions of classics and obscurities by some of the decade's defining bands, including Depeche Mode, Thompson Twins, New Order, The Cure, Love & Rockets, The Smiths and Tears for Fears.

Most recently recognized for composing the music for the Broadway sensation Spring Awakening (which featured "Glee"'s Lea Michele during it's run), Duncan is making his return to pop music with Covers 80sand a spring tour. Tracklisting and full tour dates can be found below.

Nine of the tracks on Covers 80s feature the vocals of singer/songwriter Rachael Yamagata. There is also an appearance from singer/songwriters Holly Brook, who is also known to Top 40 listeners as Skylar Grey. About the album, Sheik says "It is nice to sing these songs that are written by other people...you're inhabiting this other character that isn't you, but in this case, it is a part of what made me who I am." He adds,"The litmus test for me for choosing the songs was: 'did I really, really care about it when I was 15 or 16?"
