Coldplay kicked off their first North American tour in nearly three years last night with a sold-out show at Rexall Place in Edmonton, AB. The outing will include three sold-out concerts at Los Angeles' historic Hollywood Bowl (May 1, 2 & 4), a headline performance at the 20th Annual KROQ Weenie Roast y Fiesta at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, CA (May 5) and a two-night stand at Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ (August 3 & 4).
It will conclude with two shows at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN (August 10 & 11). Supporting acts will include Metronomy, The Pierces, Robyn, Wolf Gang, Marina and the Diamonds and Emeli Sandé.
The band is touring in support of its latest album, Mylo Xyloto.
