Morgoth will also soon release their first-ever live CD/DVD set, Cursed To Live, which celebrates the band's 20th anniversary of their all-time classic album, Cursed.
The CD, 2LP, and limited DVD+2CD Cursed To Live set (please note that the DVD is a PAL format) will be available exclusively in North America through CM Distro on June 26th as an import. The live show featured on the album was recorded at the band's triumphant show headlining the Way Of Darkness Festival 2011, where MORGOTH performed an extensive set of 15 songs that mainly came from Cursed, among various other death metal classics. The DVD includes the Way Of Darkness show in its entirety, plus additional live videos from Rock Hard Festival and their warm-up show in Wermelskirchen, as well as the band's historic four official music videos (the CD/DVD set includes an additional CD with six live tracks from the Rock Hard show and five live tracks from MORGOTH's show at Wacken Open Air 2011).
The cover artwork for Cursed To Live (which intentionally alludes to the original Cursed artwork) was designed by the renowned artist Dirk Rudolph (RAMMSTEIN, IN EXTREMO, APOCALYPTICA), who also created the original artwork for Cursed 21 (!) years ago. The audio of the live recordings was mixed by legendary death metal producer Dan Swanφ (EDGE OF SANITY, BLOODBATH, etc.) to sonic brilliance.
