(hennemusic) Van Halen's David Lee Roth has released episode number two in his new series of videos under the banner "The Roth Show."Entitled "The Language Of Video," Roth speaks about the processes of creating films and music videos, including Van Halen's "Jump" as well as his version of "California Girls."
"'Jump' triggered a whole lot of imitations," explains Roth. "There are two versions of imitation: they say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I maintain that a defense attorney invented that in a court of law to convince a jury otherwise. I believe, as Dave Mamet quotes it, that 'imitation is the sincerest form of theivery.'
