Norah Jones Added To 2012 New Yorker Festival

Norah Jones has been added to the line-up of the 2012 New Yorker Festival, which takes place October 5 at SIR Stage37 (508 West 37th Street).Jones will take part in conversation with music writer Sasha Frere-Jones – whose feature on Jones ran in the magazine earlier this year – in addition to a short performance. Jones will be making several television appearances in the coming months. The HD music performance channel Palladia will also air Jones' performance on the popular BBC series Later… with Jools Holland on September 20. The program features Jones sharing the stage with Jack White, Alabama Shakes and others. The episode of NBC's Tonight Show With Jay Leno featuring Jones' performances of "Say Goodbye" will re-air on September 13. The full episode, filmed at Brooklyn's Green Building, premieres on PBS nationwide beginning October 5. Jones continues her extensive worldwide tour behind her acclaimed new Danger Mouse produced album Little Broken Hearts throughout the remainder of 2012, including a third leg of U.S. touring in October followed by tours of Japan in November and South American in December. An Australian tour has also been announced for February 2013 with tickets for the general public going on sale at 9:00am local time on September 18.
